Booking Policy 

We request you book online with our easy to use online booking system,  Where you can select the chosen treatments along with date and time required. Once booked you will be required to pay a 50% fee or you can pay in full of your treatments booked. If you choose to pay 50 % the remaining amount can be paid in the salon on your day of appointment by card or cash payments.

 

We also take bookings over the telephone however, Please be aware we do not have reception manned full time if we are in a treatment we will be unable to answer. In this instance please leave your name and telephone number and we will aim to call you back on the same day. 

Bookings that have been placed online, You will receive two emails. One will confirm you have placed a reservation with the salon the second will confirm your appointment once a therapist has manually confirmed this for you. 

Reminders will be sent out 24 hours prior to your appointment to your chosen number left at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel please let us know as soon as you receive your reminder and please follow cancelation policies. 

We are unable to take bookings via Facebook and Instagram, We only take bookings via our website booking system or by telephone.

* COVID 19 - We understand that symptoms may arise suddenly therefore please cancel your appointment if you are showing signs of illness, Your appointment will be rescheduled and any booking  fees attached to your appointment will be transferred. 

Deposits 

All Appointments booked within the salon will require a 50% deposit to be left to secure your appointment. 

We will take the deposits through our booking system which you will have the choice to pay the minimum 50% or you can pay more should you wish. 

For appointments booked over the telephone you will be sent a payment link to pay the deposit and secure your appointment. Please refer to booking policy. 

If you notify us between an hour window of 24 - 48 hours we will transfer your appointment to your rescheduled appointment. 

Appointment Time 

We ask all clients to arrive on time for your appointments, Please allow 5 minute prior to your appointment time to fill in a consultation which will be relevant to your treatment booked that day. 

* Covid 19 - Please be aware we are unable to accommodate our full waiting area, Please avoid attending more than 5 minutes early as we will be unable to provide you with a waiting area due to social distancing in place. 

Lateness of your appointment

If you are 15 Minutes late your appointment will be shortened depending on your treatments booked, Please note your appointment will still be charged at full price for the time booked.

If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be rescheduled and you will be charged 50% of the appointment booked.

Cancelation Policy 

We request all clients wishing to cancel their appointments, You do so within a time frame of 24 - 48 hours. 

This can be done in the manner of telephone, emailing us info@avabeautysalon.co.uk.

 

If you have booked online with our booking system please use your confirmation email to cancel. You can do this by opening the email and following the steps to cancel. 

 

Appointments that have been cancelled less than 24 hours will be subjected to a 50% minimum charge.

Consultation Process 

Each appointment booked will require a consultation form to be completed, If you are new to the salon it will be in a form of personal details, Whether you wish to be contacted us with marketing which is totally your choice whether you opt in rather than opt out. 

Medical conditions relating to certain treatments but not limited to pedicure and massage will also need to be filled in. This helps you receive the correct treatment and helps us be aware of any ailments you may have. 

You will be send  a health consultation form regarding symptoms of illness, This will need to be completed before your appointment as a precaution during social distancing measures and guidelines in the beauty industry. Any information connected to health forms for the purpose of track and trace will be kept on file for 21 days and then will be destroyed in a safe way following strict GDPR guidleines.

Consultation forms and any information we have on you is stored in a safe way adhering to guidelines of personal data. 

Right to refuse 

We have the right to refuse any individual we feel is unfit for a treatment, This will include any individual that appears under the influence of drugs and alcohol. This is in place to protect you as well as our therapists. 

Certain treatments also come with what is known as contra indications, these are conditions that can interfere with a result of a treatment. 

Any medical conditions that are displayed as a contra indication will be explained to you by a therapist why this cannot be carried out. 

In this instance the therapist will discuss if there is another treatment suitable. (Not including alcohol or drug influence this will result in no treatment given). 

Children

No children under the age of 12 are allowed in the salon unless they are supervised by an adult, If you are having a treatment where the child cannot be with you ( treatment room for massage, facials, waxing) we are unable to let them stay unattended at the reception for their own safety. 

Treatments 

Our treatments cannot be performed on anyone under the age of 16 on their own, any one under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and a consultation card must be filled out and signed by the parent. 

The only treatments we can offer for under 16s is manicures and pedicures. Massage treatments cannot be carried out on anyone under the age of 18.

Patch Testing

All clients wishing to have tinting treatments must have had a patch test within the last 6 months before treatments.

The patch test needed to be carried out 48 hours before an booked treatment. 

Failing to turn up for your patch test will result in the appointment being cancelled. 

If you have had tinting treatments in other salons, We still require you to have a patch test with us prior to your lash tint, brow tint, lash lift treatment. 

Medical Issues 

If you have any medical issues we need to be aware of these need to be mentioned before the treatment in your consultation with your therapist

If you are on medication please make us aware before any treatment is started especially with any body treatments. 

Prices 

Prices are correct at time of publishing, the prices shown on the website and our downloadable price list are correct as of February 2021. They are subject to change at any time without any notice given.

Complaints Procedure

Stephanie will respond to your email and follow up with a tepehone call to discuss the matter in question. 

Postage and Packaging

On our online store please note the shipping costs is set at a flat rate this includes all packaging and the postage itself. Any orders over £30 is subject to free delivery. We also operate a click and collect services. Please note click and collect services has been suspended for the time being due to the pandemic restrictions. Items will be put together wrapped in tissue paper and relevant parcel container and be shipped. You will receive two emails, one to confirm fulfilled followed by shipping confirmation.

Items requested for postage will be sent on the same day if ordered before 3pm and sent second class and will aim to be delivered within 3- 5 working business days.
